1) How do I choose a course for my child’s test from GATE4Kids? What course options do I have?

Before registration, the best way is to call or contact your child’s school district office and ask more details about the Gifted and Talented Education program (“GATE”). Therefore you will know which subject of the GATE test will be tested in your child’s school. Our website also provides some introductory information for the GATE test. Once you decide a course to enroll, please visit JOIN to start your payment process.


2) How much does the enrollment cost?

The price is varied by different courses you select. The tuition information is displayed on the “JOIN” page. GATE4Kids offers several prep courses tailored to your need, including the Gifted and Talented Test Prep program (“GATE Test Prep Program”), and the Top-Notch Thinking program (“TNT Program”). Our GATE Test Prep Program offers a customizable, interactive and self-paced online learning tool for kids who plan to take the GATE exam offered by their elementary schools. Please select your desired program. The tuition is paid in full amount once you decide to sign up after the free-trial period. Our TNT Program offers a continuous thinking skills training for building ten types of critical thinking skills. TNT Program includes a monthly program (“TNT Monthly Program”), and a 6-month program (“TNT 6-Month Program”). The price of the TNT membership is displayed on the “JOIN”. Billing of the TNT Monthly Program will recur automatically each month. Tuition in the TNT 6-Month Program is paid in full amount once you decide to sign up after the free-trial period. You can cancel your TNT membership at any time.


3) Is there any free trial?

Yes. Our GATE Test Prep Program and the TNT Program, including TNT Monthly Program and TNT 6-Month Program, are available for the individual subscribers who are at least 18 years of age. Minors may receive access keys or user ID and/or passwords only in conjunction with an authorized adult subscription. You can click “Free Trial”, so that you can try us out before enrollment. You can cancel your membership during the free trial period and not be charged.





1) I forgot my password.

If you forget your GATE4KIDS password, click the arrow next to the password field. Select Forgot password, and enter your username or e-mail address. GATE4KIDS will e-mail a new password to you. If you don’t see the e-mail in your inbox, please be sure to check your spam folder.

If you forget your GATE4KIDS username, click the arrow next to the password field. Select Forgot username, and enter your e-mail address. GATE4KIDS will e-mail a new username to you. If you don’t see the e-mail in your inbox, please be sure to check your spam folder.


3) What are the technical requirements for GATE4Kids?

You will need a computer with an up-to-date Web browser and a connection to the Internet. You will also need to install some additional software so you can see some features like reports and interactive graphing. Please click Technical Requirement to see the requirements.


4) How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel your membership, click Log in. Then click My Account in the top right corner, and select the option to cancel your account. Be sure to click Submit to complete the cancellation. You will receive a confirmation number shown on the computer screen. Please write down this confirmation number for your record.


5) Do you have a multiple-user account so I can sign up my kids in different grade levels?

If you are individual subscribers and interested in a multiple-user enrollments, please click Contact Us . Please provide us your name, email, and your questions. A member of our team will be in touch with you shortly. We strongly suggest that you sign up accounts for each of your children, so each child can start practicing the GATE test questions at their particular grade levels. Our interactive program is designed to adapt each child’s skill level and to individually track their learning progress.


6) Can I change my course after registration?

You are free to switch your Course during the free trial period. We also strongly suggest you to contact your child’s school district office to confirm which GATE subject will be tested in his or her school. Therefore, you can choose the right GATE course subject before your enrollment.


7) If I cancel my enrollment, will I receive a pro-rated credit?

Unfortunately, we do not offer pro-rated refunds or credits for any partially used enrollment periods. Please check our Terms of Use for detailed information. Then, please select our FREE TRIAL to try before your enrollment. You may cancel your account at any time during your free trial. Once you have canceled your account, your credit card will not be charged again unless you purchase another course or our product(s).


8) Once children are registered, when can they begin to use the programs?

The registration process is fully automated, allowing you to sign up and pay via PayPal within minutes. You will receive a welcome email from us with detailed information. Your child will have access to the program once payment has been processed and completed.


9) Can I use on a tablet or smartphone?

Yes you can! The GATE4Kids system is built using a program called Adobe Flash Player. Official support for Adobe Flash is not available for mobile devices, such as smart phones, iPads, and Android tablets. Your will have to download Puffin to be able to use it. Check the link: GATE4Kids will continue working on the tablets which support Flash or any PC or Macintosh computer. We are developing GATE4Kids APP version. Hopefully it can be completed soon.


10) Is my credit card information going to be kept safe?

Yes, is a secure website, so signing up with a credit card is safe. To protect the privacy of our customers, all the information you enter is encrypted.


11) Do you accept any form of payment other than a credit card?

Yes. The easiest way to pay is via credit card here. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. In addition, we also accept Paypal for your conveniences.


12) I have a TNT monthly membership and would like to switch to a TNT 6-month membership. Can I apply the payments I made toward the monthly membership to this 6-month membership?

Unfortunately, we cannot apply payments from your monthly membership to your 6-month membership. When you switch to a TNT 6-month membership, the change takes effect after your current month ends. That way you will not lose the time you have already paid for. To switch easily to a TNT 6-month membership, please click Contact Us.
